La moto si chiama Scramblerona perché normalmente per le scrambler su base of operations bmw si utilizzano modelli con dimensioni e geometrie più compatte, promotion esempio quelli stradali che montano di serie dei cerchi da 18” e hanno delle escursioni ridotte.  La Scramblerona nasce dalla richiesta di Roberto Magnani, per gli amici Rupert, un emiliano appassionato di motociclette customizzate, e realizzata dalle sapienti mani del suo amico Alessandro Arletti che ha trasformato la propria passione per  i motori inwards un vero e proprio hobby a tempo pieno (A. Le linee guida per la trasformazione della Scramblerona erano molto semplici: prendendo spunto da realizzazioni già eseguite dall’esperto Alessandro e dal gusto personale di Rupert, sono stati individuati abbastanza velocemente i dettagli di maggior impatto estetico: serbatoio, parafanghi, fianchetti e sella. D’altronde cos’altro c’è che caratterizza una moto nuda e ridotta all’essenziale?

Unica imposizione di Rupert: la trasformazione deve risultare completamente reversibile, ovvero, la moto deve poter tornare esattamente come upwards all’origine! Questo ha naturalmente imposto alcuni vincoli, fortunatamente pochi, riguardanti soprattutto il budget, dovendo acquistare alcune parti da poter tagliare e modellare senza toccare le parti originali.

Quindi telaio posteriore di un altro GS tagliato, accorciato e adattato artigianalmente e nuovo alloggiamento batteria.

Per il serbatoio si è scelto uno dei più bei serbatoi mai realizzati dalla Casa bavarese ovvero il serbatoio da G/S prima serie che dona alla moto una linea molto filante e snella. Per la colorazione, si è optato per un verde militare semi-opaco con le guance spazzolate inwards alluminio semi-lucido e filetti inwards nero realizzati a mano direttamente sul serbatoio, inwards modo da riprendere sia il colore nero del telaio che i nuovi parafanghi inwards alluminio semi-lucidi (basso all’anteriore anziché alto come upwards la versione originale inwards plastica).

I cerchi a raggi e i coperchi valvole sono stati verniciati di nero per dare alla Scramblerona un hold off più aggressivo. Inoltre il disco freno anteriore da 280mm è stato sostituito da un ben più performante disco da 320mm con distanziale pinza realizzato inwards alluminio dal pieno. Nuovi tubi freno aeronautici per la massima resa inwards frenata.

I fianchetti originali sono stati sostituiti da fianchetti artigianali realizzati inwards pelle color nero sapientemente rifilati seguendo il disegno del telaio.

Via cruscotto e fanale anteriore, è stata mantenuta soltanto la strumentazione del contachilometri, alloggiata inwards modo artigianale appena sopra il nuovo faro tondo da 180mm preso da una BMW R45 su cui sono soil inserite le due spie principali: pompa dell’olio e batteria. Il blocchetto dell’accensione è stato spostato sul fianco sotto il serbatoio, al posto del clacson. Fanale posteriore aftermarket da scrambler e targa rivettata direttamente sul parafango.

Via anche i paracilindri e di conseguenza via anche il cavalletto laterale e il radiatore dell’olio, riposizionato centralmente dietro le forcelle anteriori grazie promotion un kit specifico.
Nuove frecce a bicchierino inwards alluminio spazzolato molto più sobrie delle originali ma dal sapore altrettanto retrò.

La sella è stata realizzata interamente a mano partendo da una base of operations di alluminio finemente modellata per rimanere a filo con l’ingombro del telaio, risultando molto più corta e snella dell’originale, ma mantenendo comunque una lunghezza da bi-posto altrettanta comoda. In pelle marrone scuro per contrastare il verde militare del serbatoio, con cuciture tono su tono e profili dal hold off vintage. due east una striscia di pelle adagiata sapientemente sulla schiena del serbatoio per dare continuità e renderlo un tutt’uno con la sella.

Per lo scarico sono stati mantenuti i collettori originali, coperti da una fascia paracalore inwards colore grigio, uniti inwards un unico terminale racing artigianale a pallottola, silenziato per quanto da un indispensabile db killer.

Il risultato lo si può vedere bene dalle foto, una BMW GS del 1989 che seppur già agile di suo rispetto ai modelli più recenti, lo è diventata ancora di più con un aspetto e un audio da vera Special!
